Welcome to the absurd and exciting world of Parodisia. Freelance Saga chronicles the adventures of a man from our world who entered into this brave new frontier. Now, in a world that seems to be built upon role playing and video game logic, with a healthy dose of fan service and oddball humor, Scott Hunter has to find out what his purpose will be in this familiar yet entirely incomprehensible world.

Freelance Saga is a series of episodic adventures offered up twice per week at a pace of roughly 1,000 words per installment, give or take a few paragraphs. Each installment is part of a larger story arc that is in itself part of the current episode. Each episode is a novella in length, and several will be roughly half the size of a standard novel. The episodes form together to create what will be known as seasons, or major story arcs.

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section! If this series becomes popular, I would love to expand it outward and begin to work in the fields of webcomics and potentially animated short films, but that is quite a good distance away at this time. 

In the spirit of fair play, I will offer the completed seasons for sale in time, as a simple word document, and later it will be available as a trade paperback or hard cover book. I feel this is more fair and reasonable than begging for donations, and you will receive something for your contributions to the cause. Those among you who feel that you would prefer to only buy stories you haven't read for free will eventually find that short side-stories and expanded universe fiction for this world will begin to be released on Smashwords and Amazon sometime within the next few months. I will update this homepage when that happens. :)

 If you like what you see, and want to support the efforts to keep this world going, at least you get something more than a warm and fuzzy feeling! Hopefully we become popular enough that all the nifty world and character primers that I want to release can be added up for sale.  

Hopefully mention of sales and similar monetization does not drive anyone away. I am committed to expanding this world and providing many hours of wonder and enjoyment. The twice weekly updates will always be free for the entire run of the series. Let's hope it becomes wildly popular and it runs for decades!
